Microsoft requested the freiwilligen testers of the Windows Vista beta 2 in the middle of June to let their version immediately activate over Internet since one wanted to deliver shortly appearing first release Candidate only at users of the beta 2, with which the this was also activated.

Now one decided obviously differently. As the developers mentioned over their Web log, should have nevertheless been available Windows Vista RC1 against past planning now for each prospective customer to the Download. Testers, which had already registered themselves during the distribution of the beta 2, are infomiert automatically, as soon as the RC1 is available for the Download.

Who wants to then download the Windows Vista RC1, only live ID must announce itself at Microsoft and receives thereafter a license key with a Windows and the addresses needed for the Download of the different versions. It is to be assumed the new public test version is offered like the beta 2 also in German language.

One at present already tests Windows Vista Build 5505 internally with Microsoft. When exactly release Candidate 1 is to be published was not communicated, so far yet. Insider count however between that 15. and 25 August on it. We will report naturally accordingly, if it so far is.
