Microsoft claims that its email services have been improved to block "questionable" email messages and has better junk mail filtering. We do hope that MS has also fixed that bloody annoying bug in Outlook that means you have to create new .PST files from time to time, and that the search function is faster than before. It claims that synchronisation is better in Office 2003, and – important one this – claims that it's backward, sideways and forward compatible with Office XP, Office 2000 and Office 97 files.
