    Miranda IM is a multi protocol instant messenger client for Windows. It is designed to be resource efficient and easy to use. It uses very little memory, requires no installation and can easily be carried around on a single floppy disc. The goal of this project is not to duplicate the functionality of AOL's ICQ Client, but to design a client that has the basic features that is designed for mouse-less operation with a small memory requirement.

    Great prog, but never got it to work with my machine... Brain incompatible ;). I use it at work, though.
    File transfers through NAT by layers on 2005-05-16 08:51:07
    How well do file transfers work through NAT? Trillian has some problems even if you set everything up properly.

    As good as any other programme.

    NAT disabilities are caused by the protocols - not the software.

    The very best IM client I have ever had the pleasure of using. Free and open source too, cant beat that.
