Firefox 3 is focused on improved memory handling, performance, and stability, improved XUL, and new core components such as application data stored in SQLite. Firefox 3 could break a few existing extensions and applications built on top of Firefox, and it will definitely include new optimizations if you like to build on the popular browser. Firefox 3 should have additional JavaScript and SVG features if you're into that sort of thing. As All PreRelease of FireFox 3.0 Alpha its Code Name is also MineField. Its Based on Gecko 1.9 Alpha 5

Alpha 5 = RC 2 (Release Candidate 2)???
No... this is just a candidate for Alpha 5... if it's good it will become Alpha 5 but if not it will progress as another candidate to Alpha 5 like RC3.
It's not a BETA and it's far from being a standard RC, which marks the status of tha project as Final... it's just Alpha 5.
IT... it's damn hard to understand it, isn't it?
Alpha 5 != RC 2 by

No, Alpha 5 is far from being the Release Candidate of Firefox 3.0. This is the second Release Candidate of the fifth Alpha Milestone of Firefox 3.0. Still a long way to go till 3.0.

you have to pick your .iso file by klicking the dialog: file -> browse for a file..
then: file -> write
or use the big button within the gui that shows a file with a cd and an arrow to a cd.
it'll let you pick your .iso file and start writing
have fun

Release Candidates for the Alpha versions..
That's quite funny, they've could simply named it Alpha 6 instead..
Don't see why they need Release Candidates for their alpha versions.. Come on, we know it's alpha.. We all know alpha is the earliest stage in a development.. There is no need to release candidate test, the alpha test version..
Come on, are they testing the test? :p
Quite funny, but I don't catch the point of it.. Why not simply name it Alpha 6?
