I downloaded the file and installed it. To my surprise the program is called now BON ECHO and not firefox anymore!!! They have a different logo as well! But it is exactly the same firefox program (we all use).
Alll add-ons (extensions) work OK as before. No problems. When my firewall asks for permission to run the program, it identifies as "firefox" (not Bon Echo") However, they did fix (in this version) the bug with the "page reset at the top" when one clicks somewhere in the middle of the page and the page jumps suddenly at the top (... this is good news) They have NOT fixed yet the bug with the bookmarks list. It does not remember the last point you were on a long favorite list (a very annoying bug).
Your post wasnt very informative and i found it to be quite annoying in that fact being everyone has known about the beta code for firebox being bon echo. And "to my surprise" you go on and on telling useless things about a nightly build? Wow, lets work on the quality and interest level of our posts. Thank you.

Bon Echo is a code name for Nightly builds or pre-releases, aka Betas. The final releases are still called Firefox.

Nightly releases released every **[ 9down.com refused this word ]**ing night. Thats why they're called "Nightly", for **[ 9down.com refused this word ]** sakes.

How come when I click on "Check for Updates..." from my Firefox 2.0 browser, it says "There are no new updates available"???
And by the way, is there a link to Mozilla's/Firefox's site where I can get more information on this "nightly" release?

The nightly builds aren't official, so the auto-updater won't pick them up, it just deals with 'full' releases.
The MozillaZine forums are probably the best place for info on the nightlies (and everything else Firefox/Mozilla related).

No, elle n'est pas officielle. Elle est "Beta". Chaque nuit une nouvelle version est libérée. Si tu l'installe, puis chaque autre jour il te demandera d'installer plus nouvel! Drôle et beau!!!
