Mozilla Firefox project (formerly Firebird, which was formerly Phoenix) is a redesign of Mozilla's browser component, written using the XUL user interface language and designed to be cross-platform. needs time for mozilla.org to update the website, usually they update the ftp, and all the repositories around the world. when this is done, they put it on the website.

i have ff2 but really the 1.5 is the best and still so i advice to gave the 1.5.11 better that 2.0.0.3

2.0.0.3/1.5.0.11 candidates available. There are now candidate builds available for 2.0.0.3 and 1.5.0.11 available. Because we had a number of serious regressions that caused this quick release after 2.0.0.2, we would like to get as many people testing these before we push a final release live. Please file bugs on any regressions from 2.0.0.2 and nominate for blocking!

Opera the best? hahahaha. Explain why is the best... I tested it various times and in my opinnion is slow and uncomfortable in comparison to Firefox/Mozilla/Seamonkey.

Nothing wrong with Opera browser... it's a good browser. I use it when I am busy and want it to read what is on the site. I use Firefox for everything else. Both good browser that are zillion times better then any browser that uses the IE control... IE = phucking garbage.

I have about 18 web pages I go to every day and they are all open every time I launch Opera. I don't remember Opera crashing as often as Firefox, but the few times it did, when I re-opened it, all my web pages were still there. I used Firefox for years right up to the latest versions and it has always crashed the longer I used it. Opera can stay open for days with heavy use and it has never crashed on me. My eyesight is not that good so I zoom the text AND the graphics on some websites in Opera. I want to look at my porn website thumbnails larger... so I use Opera. I like Firefox but Opera is the workhorse I use most.

hmmm........I've been using Firefox for some time now and I have never had it crash on me. As a matter of fact, I started using firefox because IE was crashing on me just about everytime I used it. I would visit a couple of pages and wham! It would crash..............

Firefox is a virtualized application, not a native one... this is the main reason it uses more RAM... but it's also the reason FX is available on so many platforms. Without this virtualization, which is done trough XUL Runner, the development and maintenance of the project would be a nightmare.
For me speed or memory cosumptions is not what I need... Firefox fills the gaps that other browsers have and that's why it's my choice!

I think 2.0.0.2 is the newest version, when I click check for updates, there are no updates.
