Mozilla Firefox is a small, fast and very easy to use browser that offers many advantages over other web browsers, such as the ability to block pop-up windows and the tabbed browsing.

· industry leading accessibility with Find As You Type - find links and page text by simply typing;
· simplified privacy controls that let you cover your tracks more effectively;

So that also means that it won't access the 'Net, just like the last release. I'll wait for the final version.

This is why it's called a "BETA" ! ! !
BETAs are usually meant for those
who want to play and tweak around
with it.

alfa is unusable state of early development
beta is usable state of development, but not quite finished....

that's why!

FYI: Roboform and Yahoo Companion toolbars do not work with Firefox 2.0 accoording to the Firefox memo box--they both work fine with v 1.5.0.6.

Not so true. I've been using my Roboform since RC1 and it is still useable when Firefox 2.0 (Bon Echo) auto updated to RC2. Just download from Roboform file the firefox extension and open it (Ctrl + O)

It's quite a waste to install these beta's, unless you are really interested in testing the build and reporting the possible bugs you might notice/experience. Other than that...these beta's will just give you a hard time.

The main problem is many themes and extensions will not work in beta or release candidate versions. Adblock extension for instance gets disabled in the release candidate version.
