Mozilla Firefox project (formerly Firebird, which was formerly Phoenix) is a redesign of Mozilla's browser component, written using the XUL user interface language and designed to be cross-platform. It includes a popup blocker, tabbed browsing, a smarter search, hassle free downloading, and improved privacy and security.Enjoy improvements to performance, ease of use and privacy. It's easy to import your favorites and settings and get started.
delivers easier navigation for everyone, including those who are visually or motor-impaired. Firefox is the first browser to support DHTML accessibility, which, when enabled by Web authors, allows rich Web applications to be read aloud. Users may navigate with keystrokes rather than mouse clicks, reducing the tabbing required to navigate documents such as spreadsheets.

Nightly builds are posted to the world to find and correct bugs and add improvents, all you have to know is java and xml, the source code is free so you can build upon your browser....Install a nightly build on a differant machine since it might F*ck your primary box up...................

Hey, if you Whiners don't like Nightly builds, then don't download them.  Just by-pass the post and move on.
Personally, I have never had any problems with any Firefox builds, so unless you all have 486s or Commie 64's, quit your griping.  :)  Nightly builds work just fine.

not true. nightlies are not recommended.

they crash more

also, most extensions do not work for nightly builds

Creemoreguy has a point. You have all the freedom to download it if you want or ignore it if you want. I don't want to download it. But you and I have absolutely no right to criticize anyone because of posting something most of us would think is a trash.

Unless it is a virus that he posted, then let's just get this over with and move on.

Hell I guess I wont compain too much about this post, at least he posted out of the branch this time and not the trunk, and at least he got the name right. Just remember that most of you extensions will break as this has a totally new bookmarking system (places).

More information on using a 'Portable' version can be found at Neowin. This way it won't screw up an existing installation of Firefox!
