Mozilla Thunderbird is a redesign of the Mozilla mail component. The goal is to produce a cross platform stand alone mail application using the XUL user interface language. The intended customer is someone who uses Mozilla Firefox (or another stand alone browser) as their primary browser and wants a mail client based on mozilla that "plays nice" with the browser. THunderbird 2 is a breeze, it rocks, messages can be stored as conversation, tabbed messages has not yet been incorporated, but still its too good for a freeware. the new message notification is tooooo good and mouse over the folders with new messages brings up preview of the messages. Too much to explain guys, And for people still using paid softwares, come out into reality.... experience the power of opensource.... Think ahead always
