MyIE2 is a multi-tabbed browser based on the IE core (IE5.x or above required). It can open multiple web pages within one browser window, and uses little system resources. MyIE2 has a greatly integrated & customizable interface which supports Skins,
Plug-Ins, IE Extensions, & specific toolbars (example: GOOGLE
Toolbar).
MyIE2 also incorporates 2 POPUP blockers (Auto POPUP blocker & a POPUP
blocker list filter) and a Content Filter. The Content filter can be used to
filter offensive pictures on a web page,
if desired.
New in this version:
(Added) Favicon support. Enable / Disable this options in MyIE2 Options->Tab.
(Added) ALL current IE encoding support. Select from toolbar dropdown button.
(Added) Set background color, font size and transparency(only Win2K,XP) level
of collectors.
(Added) New script commands for plugin developer. Check pluginplugin_HowTo.htm
for details.
(Added) Can use URL alias, Default search in 'Open address dialog'.
(Added) Better download manager support. Select download manager at MyIE2 Options->Download.
(Changed)IE BHO type plugin is disabled by default. Add bLoadBHO=1 to plugins.ini
[IEPlugins] to enable it.
(Added) "Do Not Load Start Page When Opened by Other Program" setting
at 'when starting' dialog.
(Fixed) Links bar missing problem. (Need confirmation).
(Fixed) Clean history would also clear typed URLs.
(Fixed) Proxy menu did not updated for localhost.
(Fixed) When status bar is not visible and tab bar is at bottom, double click
on tab bar would not open new tab.
