The NGO NVIDIA Optimized Driver is a tweaked version of the NVIDIA ForceWare driver. The main purpose is to satisfy the users with better performance and image quality. The Driver has support for all Geforce cards.
Changes: * Based on NVIDIA ForceWare 93.71 * Added support for GeForce 7650 GS * Added support for GeForce 6150 LE * Added support for GeForce 6100 nForce 430 * Added support for GeForce 6100 nForce 420 * Added support for GeForce 6100 nForce 405 * Added support for GeForce 6100 nForce 400 * Added support for Quadro FX 5500 * Added support for Quadro FX 4500 X2 * Added support for Quadro FX 550 * Added support for Quadro NVS 210S

Tried to myself, also didn't see any difference. But then, I don't mind. As long as my pc didn't crash. Hehehe..

So...I made a little mistake... The first like is to XTreme-G 93.71 x86, the second is for XTreme-G 93.71 x64. These are both tweaked drivers. If you like it, donate for the site to stay on.

never noticed too much of a difference in performance with NGO on 32-bit, but what do benchmarking progs have to say about drivers like this compared to Nvidia WHQL? Futurmark? (people are still using that one... right?) I DO know that the last two NGO 64 bit releases crashed repeatedly--no bluescreen--actually every time i ran a java app (i can replicate the scenario easily) ..like opening the java control panel, the entire computer would simply shut down and reboot. I would rather trust Nvidia's tweaking util... ntune. I've had better luck with it. A lot of people don't have luck with ntune... but i would try it first before downloading "tweaked" third party drivers. Perhaps Nvidia doesn't know YOUR system, but they DO know their product. I would consider any third party tweaked driver "beta". If you have luck with this driver, then fine. I would like to hear about it. I am also interested in hearing about other people's 64-bit experiences.

I forgot to mention; if you are using an nVidia chipset on your mobo, make sure you choose to uninstall ONLY the video card drivers instead if just clicking ok...otherwise it will un-install ALL nVidia drivers it finds.
