This driver will only be good for a 7series GPU.
All older cards will experience game performance reduction,but better video capabilities.

A256mb 6600LE AGP8x Slows down heaps on any driver Newer than the 84.21.

A256mb 5700LE AGP8x Does well with the 77.77.

ALL OLDER CARDS SHOULD USE THE 56.72 Disc Driver it is not dowloadable.
Sorry blame Nvidia.

The 56.72 is the driver that Windows has built in to install for a compatible
Nvidia VGA
BUT the WINDOWS VERSION is NOT the same as the NVIDIA VERSION
The Nvidia version has a full control panel and functions much better on older gpu's.

I got this driver with a Palit FX5700LE 256mb 8x
it warns that it is older than the microsoft driver(but is the same version number)
just continue the install then restart to get a control panel.
Even an old Tnt will love it no fullscreen video problems.

Remember it is ForceWare don't Force you're old GPU to cook
stick with a driver that still keeps all the cards old capabilities.

My mistake 56.72 is Downloadable
But don't be suprised if it does'nt
activate AGP fast Writes downloaded drivers don't do this in my experience's.
Disk drivers always activate AGP Fast Writes.

Shuddap noob!, every driver is the same unless the company that developed the card for the nvidia GPU changes it and put it for dl on their own site, if it does not activate depends on ur hardware and/or the driver version, dun tell me u wanna blame 56.72 for not haveing directx 9 support or opengl 2 or h.264 included >:(

Sometimes I feel like installing my old TNT2 32M and Detonator drivers that gave me better frame rate on 10x slower K6 2 550 CPU yrs ago.

Fastwrites is enabled on all nvidia drivers, as long as its enabled in the bios, driver version doesnt change this.

for people using FX cards - 7800 cards, stick with 92.91, going higher, you are forced to download ntune for overclocking and temp monitoring....

the nvidia 56.72, IS the same as the built in 56.72, as nvidia is the one that creates the driver.

the MS version though, does not include the Control panel, or Opengl capability.

oh, and before you claim you know more then me.

i've been with nvidia since geforce 2, i also topped my IT class, and i'm an nvidia driver modder and nforce remixer.

so stfu and bow down little man coz i know WAY more then you will ever know.

Another Nvidia Issue,
Can't get games to play,only shows dark screen or simillar.
Change the moniter driver to a defualt monitor then restart windows
games that should work .will now .

monitor drivers are a big issue in
most new nvidia drivers
using monitors that have no driver.
