Hey guys, this might be a stupid question, but how do I enable the "Blu-ray/HD DVD Video Plug-in"? I have a few HD DVD's ripped to my hard drive, but when I try to play them with Nero, I get an error saying I need the Blu-ray/HD DVD Video Plug-in.

Nero got too complicated for this idiot , i went back to 6

does any1 know how to fix an audiosync problem with nerovision? some versions i have no problem. for example, when i use nero 7.590a, i have no problem. but when i upgraded to this one i have an audio sync error. i know it has to do with a filter called nevideo.ax in the c\programfiles\commonfiles\ahead\dsfilter\. when i switch the old one (nero 7.570a version nevideo.ax) i have no problems. any suggestions on how to make this new version work for me? thx

Nero Home
Nero BackItUp
Nero MediaHome
Nero ImageDrive
Nero Mobile

During Setup
unselect all photosnaper file types
Select all Vid. and Aud. file types(Then defualt WMP after all done)
Unselect setup Nero Scout on first run option.

Now that you're done right click on the taskbar and
scroll up the menu to toolbars highlighting that to
see you can untick(unselect) the NeroSearch toolbar
that was added to the taskbar.(I Always turn on Quick Launch aswell)

To get rid of Nero Scout
just right click on Nero Scout
scroll and select Options.
In the options box untick(unselect) the
Intergrate with windows box then save and exit and it's gone.

Any major problems go to nero.com and download the
latest nero removal tool and registry checker then use them to remove nero and re-install.

Well, try burning and audio cd then :) You need to substitude the mp3pro plugin in order to avoid track skipping. As you can see below you also need to do tricks to avoid the "great" scout feature! Version 7 is very disappointing to me. 6 is much better. And there are several wonderful all-in-one products out there that would do the same good job as any nero - Infra Recorder for instance...which is freely available, as well :)

Nero 6 is from the Stone Age
7 is so much better
ive had no problems at all and it offers more like Nero Vision and Nero renecode

Now i use a registry editing program to check startup items(keys) and remove
the NBGMonitor thingy and any others you now are not helping things on you're pc for you're hardware
or software.(e.g.Remote Controll for powerdvd only needed in startup if u have a IR Remote Controll
also Language shortcut for pdvd can be removed(just select system defigned Lang. in pdvd7. instead).

Any major problems go to nero.com and download the
latest nero removal tool and registry checker then use them to remove nero and re-install

Hi there, I was hoping someone could pls help me. I installed Nero Premium 7.8.5, and everytime i start Nero Vision, that "Windows Installer" box will pop up, asking for the "Nero 7 Ultra Edition CD".

And this even happens when i use the General Clean tool to uninstall nero 7 and install nero 6. Can someone pls hlp??? I'l be very grateful!!

little correction after the download is run and has unzipped run DXSETUP.exe, after that do what the installer says (if needed restar pc) then run nero setup again. Success
