I have had great success in getting Nero 7 to work/burn on my laptop; but for some reason I have had some burning problems with it on my desktop PC, so I went back to Nero 6.

Has anyone ever had problems with Nero 6.6.1.4? I have some dvds burned(wasted). I have never had problems with 6.6.0.18. Maybe that ultra-buffer technology or... my writer got old.

I just wanted to say, I am connected to interenet all the time through a cable connection. I tried to install the newest of Nero and it would not let me, said it had expired. I uninstalled and disconnected for internet and it installed correctly. Just thought I would pass it along to anyone who is having trouble like i did.

I had no problem at all installing it over the top of my older version. It kept the same key.

I wonder what people find so good in a software that crashes and damgaes th esystem.
 I tried to install it twice but everytime it said me "fatal error" and "resintall nero". Had to use a special tool for removing files that couldn't be uninstalled normally and reinstalled version 7.0.5.5 without problems. Next time you post a software be sure that the exe file works correctly and not badly and that the thing is tried, reliable and proven. Thanks in advance.

Just because YOU can't get it to work doesn't make it corrupt.  Perhaps YOUR copy is corrupt in some way.  Don't blame the folks in the forum or 9down, they are just reporting an official release of the product.  Your note makes it sound like the folks at Nero are reading your message.  I doubt it.  Sheesh!

BTW, it installed perfectly fine on MY computer...

I tried the Nero 7 Premium Edition v7.0.8.2 but it doesn't seem to work much better in terms of making an audio cd. some music crashes when i played the burnt audio cd. i compare it with my previous nero v6 and it works fine than Nero 7 Premium Edition v7.0.8.2. What supposed to be the problem? Is there anybody who experienced the same.

Hi All, Newbie here . . I'm trying to do something simple, make a slideshow and put in on cd/dvd, but in all cases I get fuzzy/blurry results.  I've used nero 6 (nero vision), nero 7, and arcsoft.  My pics are 4MP, crystal clear, Windows slideshow goes well, all clear, but the Nero's and Arcsoft never come out, they're always slightly blurred both on screen when played, or when burned, no matter what I do.  It seems so simple, what in the heck could I possibly doing wrong?  Also, I had problems with the Nero 7 Ultra, the posted key worked, but I later got the error messages about "fatal error, reinstall Nero" also like some of the others.

yeh men we had the same problem.don't  worry you're not alone. Just switch back to the previous version Nero 6 just like what i did. It works better..God Bless!
