yes do not download the torrent or any file with a zix extension. zix files are almost always fake and always carry some sort of adware of spyware. they are not to be trusted. there's a reason why people choose to use zix and not zip or rar. think about it.

im going to try the nero 8 torrent.

winzix is spyware, but if you rename "zix" files to "zip", winzip and winrar can extract them.

winzix is NOT a compression method...its just a zip file with the extension renamed.
