I've never had a problem with nero 7, it burns, edits and does all its meant to, and Ive used almost every feature several times, so I dont think ill go back to 6. If anyone is having that many issues with v7, i think its more the user or the users PC than nero's fault.
Well, try burning and audio cd then :) You need to substitude the mp3pro plugin in order to avoid track skipping. As you can see below you also need to do tricks to avoid the "great" scout feature! Version 7 is very disappointing to me. 6 is much better. And there are several wonderful all-in-one products out there that would do the same good job as any nero - Infra Recorder for instance...which is freely available, as well :)

Hints and suggestions Nero 7.
Do a custom install and exculde the following Nero Home Nero BackItUp Nero MediaHome Nero ImageDrive Nero Mobile
During Setup unselect all photosnaper file types Select all Vid. and Aud. file types(Then defualt WMP after all done) Unselect setup Nero Scout on first run option.
Now that you're done right click on the taskbar and scroll up the menu to toolbars highlighting that to see you can untick(unselect) the NeroSearch toolbar that was added to the taskbar.(I Always turn on Quick Launch aswell)
To get rid of Nero Scout just right click on Nero Scout scroll and select Options. In the options box untick(unselect) the Intergrate with windows box then save and exit and it's gone.
Any major problems go to nero.com and download the latest nero removal tool and registry checker then use them to remove nero and re-install.

Nero 6 is from the Stone Age 7 is so much better ive had no problems at all and it offers more like Nero Vision and Nero renecode

Now i use a registry editing program to check startup items(keys) and remove the NBGMonitor thingy and any others you now are not helping things on you're pc for you're hardware or software.(e.g.Remote Controll for powerdvd only needed in startup if u have a IR Remote Controll also Language shortcut for pdvd can be removed(just select system defigned Lang. in pdvd7. instead).
Any major problems go to nero.com and download the latest nero removal tool and registry checker then use them to remove nero and re-install.

Toolbar.exe found by NOD32 in Nero 6.6.1.15a trial. Is this harmful?

Nero 7.8.5.0 Rocks. This version has absolutely no bugs and not crappy like previous Nero 7 versions. So cheer up..:)
