Guys, stop posting stuff for the older versions. It doesn't work. Post only if you tested.

If you have installed old version, you need to delete them and kill all "ahead" key in registry. or you cannot use new key to install.

Havent tried it yet, but the Key Gen by EMBRACE might work. When you run the key gen it has a "clean" option which I believe first removes any of the old key information from the registry and generates a new working key. I'll try it after I mirror my C: I guess. If anyone has tried it, please post here if it worked for you. I'm running the 7203 Ultra version now and it works fine. I wonder if the "b" version is just the licensing changes to check for pirated codes. hmmmm.       thanx, Tia :)

That is when you choose Encode Audio Files in Nero StartSmart, and choose mp3PRO as output.

Any key doesn't work! I need MP3Pro plug-in and there is no working key!

I forgot to mention...after installing 7203b, that version number is not listed either in the "about" box or if you access properties of the file nero.exe.

How stable is Nero 7.x in comparison to Nero 6.6?

Nero 6 works fine for me and I don't want to change to v7 if it isn't as stable.

I used Nero 6 since it first came out. Always worked fine for me. Switched to Nero7 when it first came out...seemed kinda buggy. The last two versions seem to work very well as far as I can tell. I dont use Neros music and sound programs so I cant comment on those but the burning programs seem very good. Aloha Tia :)

It is conflict with the Sony CD-ROMs.

To remove the Nero Scout Desktop Search from the taskbar, click it on the taskbar and select options. You must check the box that says enable Nero Scout, then it will let you uncheck the two boxes below (enable on the taskbar and enable in explorer). Then uncheck the enable Scout box and close the dialog. Then the Nero Scout Desktop Search is gone...
