since from V 7.x.x.x it has a big bug in skipping sound for making AUDIO CD

To all the feeble minded people who think version 7.5.0.2 is a fake or spyware. THINK AGAIN Version 7.5.0.2 is a leaked version of a future release which will probably be marketed at Christmas. If you do not believe me then try and write to a DVD-R using InCD with version 7.2.7.0 - it is not possible but it is possible with version 7.5.0.2 It is even possible that version 7.5 will be sold as a new version of Nero. First, you can't be sure it's official...
Second, you don't have any kind of change log...

Algalord - technically Webkikr is right. The difference between Nero 7 Premium and Nero 7 Ultra Edition appears to be the inclusion of (or lack of, respectively) support for LabelFlash and DiscT@2. Maybe you should heed your own advice, and not be so rude.

Have to agree with Algalord. The difference between Premium and Ultra Edition is pure cosmetic. One for Europe and one for USA. Currently I'm using the 7.5.0.2 Premium leaked one. Noticed that Nero's Homepage adapts to what version is installed. The accusations about the 7.5.0.2 containing a trojan is just untrue.

7.502 is real. it is a leaked pre-release of a full Retail Multilingual Version. it was leaked onto r.s. by some1 on th e inside who illegally decided to take it upon himself and share it with us. it is not fake. it is prob. one copy that has been recopied over and over on r.s. personally, i hated 7.232b, but i have to say that all the bugs (especially the ones in nerovision) have been fixed. all the burning and authoring with prev versions have been tweaked in 7.502. my advice is to download it b4 the links get deleted. for those who like 6.6, 7.502 is better than 6.6 too. dont download the release above download 7.502. trust me

Man O Man what a debate about Nero versions. LOL!!!! I use v7.2.3.2b I have not had any problems with it at all but I dont' record any audio cds' either with nero. I loved version 6 and I used it for along time. It was great to use to make VCD's menus but I then took the big leap to Nero 7. I have used "NTI CD&DVD Maker Platinum Edition v7.0.0.6704" to make audio cds' with I like it also. I think NTI is a very simple program that any1 could use with ease. If you are looking for a solid audio burner give NTI a shot I think that you will like it.

...so by using your fix, i could use nero 7 premium, but with a tweaked (and working) burning engine that more closely resembles nero 6? and, im assuming that if i have nero 6, i can just use the dll on my local machine...

...i have winxp media center edition (pirated version of course ^_^). so according to the quote above, does nero 7 have the functionality for me to finally use my computer to watch tv? if so, does nero 6 have the same functionality, or is this something new to nero 7? maybe this is a dumb question, but its been a LONG time since i switched over to nero 6. basically, does nero home add functionality to the "media center" program in windows, or is it just an alternative?

for me Nero version 6 was ok but then came Nero 7 , Nero 7 installed like 30 codecs on ur compouter and i always dondered why Nero needed audio and video codec..The point is that before installing Nero 7 with with all the codecs that it installed it made my movies all skippy so this was shit for me and the other shit is that it's difficult to get rid of it of ur computer (but not impossible)

use sateira cd and dvd burner it's a small one and it burns quickly all kind of medias (audio,movies,software) and it doesnt installl any codecs

Wow!! Now I see that I was crucified for the comment about the differences between ULTRA and PREMIUM versions...
By the way, there's a complete confusion about it, even on the Online Nero Store!!
You see PREMIUM at the Home Page but when you go buy it, it says "ULTRA"!!

Since he said that is not using Nero 7 due to its problem with audio cds...

Finally, I really don't care about its name...
I only use Nero to burn my personalized audio and data discs (CDs and DVDs)...
For burning images I use Alcohol 120% since there isn't any other that good!!
For all the other stuff that Nero offers (audio edition, labels, video, etc) I have many tools (all of them better than Nero) for doing so...

as for nero 7, i remember it looked a lot nicer than nero 6. but was a little excessive in what it contained. going to test this fix on my old comp, will report what i find, including specific steps to disable the "excess baggage" that comes with nero 7 (nero scout and anything else i can find)

and thanks for your help, Algalord. i always thought nero 7 was a bit of a catch-22...new releases of a software thats notorious for not working. and to be honest i never would have thought of replacing the dll with the nero 6 version. but i guess thats what i get for being a kiddiot :)

and speaking of alcohol 120%, last time i checked, demonoid was hosting a torrent of alcohol 120% most recent build, with a patch that actually works (betamaster fixed his old patcher to work with the newest version). ive been running the newest build for a few weeks without any problems.

I have a problem regarding uninstallation of NERO 7.X.X. I removed it using its uninstall via the program files but after the process I checked the add/removed program and still i can see that Nero 7 Premium is still there. When i decided to just removed it from there, an error message appeared: "Fatal Installation". What does this mean and how can i removed it from the add/remove program? Need your help please!

i tried a many many times but still skipping sound. if you don't trust me u must try to hear t each file by urself. u'll hear skipping sound.

The nero 6 version is good but for some reason when i try to burn multisession DVDs (data) only DAO (disk at once) is available and greyed out when a multisession disk is "started" or "continued". i also get error "could not perform end of Disc at once" . help anyone?

For the most part Nero 7 hasn't been too bad. My biggest issue has been with Nero Vision. Several versions took about 2 minutes just to load. Several have had issues with Lip Sync on AVI files converted to DVD. I wish I could figure out what versions I had that didn't have that issue so I could install that again.

Another way around the v7.x audio CD skipping problem; Convert your MP3's to WAV files using an audio conversion program like Imtoo, Xillisoft, or Fairstars audio convertors. That's what I have been doing for a while now.

When you pre-convert them to wav, Nero doesn't have to do the conversion with it's s-h-i-t-t-y encoder. Just drag the wav's to the audio cd compilation.

can anyone post a link to a working version of ashampoo's burning suite. every single one i downloaded off of torrent sites freezes up when i go to load the program.

Visit ISO Hunt if you wanna get the Nero 7.5.02 software. They have both CD and DVD torrent. The larger file includes all kinds of plugins. No need to mess with Rapid Shi+ or that silly site with all of the damned stock market baloney either.

The point about 6.6.1.6 being the last build is not quite true. I have 6.6.1.8 and have been using it for quite a while. It was released on this site November of last year. It's still listed there when you do a search.

v6.6.1.8 does not exist. maybe it is being confused with v6.6.0.18? the newest version is 6.6.1.6

i went to nero's website, and the newest one listed is 6.6.1.4 and the built-in "check for updates" option in startsmart doesn't recognize anything newer than that. i downloaded this file and it installed fine, no bugs. and this installer has yahoo toolbar removed by default!
