hi ... i just wanna tell u that the 2 last vesions of nero r turning in a problem!!!! if u leave nero for an amount of time in ur computer it start to like eating the fles of ur cdwriter... the only thing taht u can do at the end is only burn music.. no programs not even pictures... this happened to my laptop n my desktop ... thank u for ur attention..

I love Nero 7.. they work incredibly well. I really need the DVD Plugin for it though. It supposedly adds some features to the re-encoder and speeds it up. Anyone have it?

Nero 7 is wery wery BUGGY don't use it, use v.6, about the licencing subsystem glitch. I had the same problem in Nero 7.0.1.4b it is a problem with non us-english system settings (Cyrilic languages like Russian, Ukranian, Belorus, Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian and so on), on english wersions of windows xp, and us-english wersions of nero 7 this is how i got arround them: Go to the Controll Panel, open regional and language settings, go to the advanced tab, and select us english for your Language for non-Unicode programs, reboot now the licencing subsystem problem will be gone but a bunch of other non-unicode programs that worked well will start to glitch (unleast you will see your native alphabet like an Egiptian Hirogliph) Nero 7 sucks, don't download 100+Mb of Crap use nero 6.6.xx

What the? The only difference between premium and ultra edition is that the ultra edition is ment for the us and canadian market, and the premium edition for the europian and asian market. there is only one download for bouth versions (three if you count essentials). wich version is better? Ahead is a German (European) company so i wuld say that premium is better. about the licencing crap read the previos post. p.s. Nero7 sucks

I get the same error but only for Nero Vision. Ihave tried many keys Premium and Ultra but I still get the message. Have you fix the problem for you

If you use both Nero 7.0.5.4 and iTunes on your system, at startup Nero may give you an error message saying that it has fixed some registry values.  This will cause you to have to reinstall/repair iTunes to get it to import or burn CDs.  To fix this, run msconfig, and disable "NeroCheck" on the startup tab.

Heh  It's actually possible to disable Nero Scout completely in its setup now, without having to execute those commands.

Nero Vision Express 3 and Nero Express?

Nero Express is a Wizard version of Nero Burning Rom.

Nero Vision is a different program.  The latest is Nero Vision 4, and the previous version (v3) was called Nero Vision Express.

Unfortunately, DreadLord's plugin pack didn't help to enable it, either...

Im so mad, man i mustve installed/removed Nero like 5 times already, tryed Premium or Ultra....

And i cant get the feature that i actually use to work (wich is burn downloaded videos to a DVD so i can see them on a DVD player)


This is my last try, im downloading the RETAIL ISO from isohunt (7.0 premium edition) and try that one out -_-, if this doesnt work, im goin back to Nero 6 and NVE3

I download Nero 7 Premium ISO of isohunt and installed it....i have every feature working... but its version 7.0.0, so i tryed updating using the new Nero and it turns my shit into DEMO and all my features a dissabled...like i cant make DVD movies or nothing...


I just removed everything and reinstalled the ISO and left it like that.


Is there a way of updating this without messing up?  i want the update cause in the update you get to disable that Nero Scout..and in the 7.0.0.0. you cant...

Hi there i also have nero 7.0.0.0 and well when i wan to use the Nero Burning ROM, it does not work, it wont even open it at all???? can anyone help? me out in this or any have a upgrade to 7.0.5.4 with out uninstalling my 7.0.0.0????? cause my up dates dont work too? because i have a copy not original!!!!HELP!

Yes it does what you have is a corupted install.

That error message should of told you as much since its unable to load part of its program and is not having issues with the key itself.

You could always try going right to nero and downloading the nero 7 mutli install which is (413mb) and includes everything.

Don't use any downloading aclerator since they always seem to corupte nero downloads (go figger).

Your getting a program error not a install code problem, thus you have a coruppt install.

Just because the file downloaded fine doesn't mean it has installed fine.

Or possiably a system problem.
