Why Nero v6? simple...nero 6 has no overated useless bloat with it and can still actually do the great job that Nero built up its fine reputation for over the years. IMO version 7 helped to knock back some of that reputation...especially that scout crap. Nero 6 does everything burning wis so the question really should be...why upgrade? Like why upgrade to Vista..same question. Because newest is best? I don't think so!!

heh? I just download that and check my updated and it said 6.6.1.4 is lastest updates is this old news? hehe I have perfect working key though I not sure if I want give out or not :P nananan lol that unlocks everthing :)

I use Vista so I'm stuck with ver 7. However 7.7.5.1 is only 190mb and no viruses. There is also a working kg. If you people are interested I'll post it up. If not..well you get it.

Version 7 was screwing up audio cd's. Songs were skipping for no reson. The problem seems to be corrected in the latest release, 7.7.5.1. It works for me. That is the only problem I am aware of.

Nero 6 doesn't have all the crap you may or may not need. Version 7 has everything to create DVD's and be your photo viewer of choice, and on and on and on. Version 6 burns CD's And DVD's and booklets... hmmmmmmm 190mb for extra crap or 34 meg for burning software.
