I think it's actually Norton SystemWorks, basically, only that now it also includes Norton Internet Security in it's package, thus it's called Norton 360.

I'd recommend staying away from this Symantec/Norton Crap. All it does is load your pc up with all kinds of running programs and is hell to get uninstall completely after you find out how much it slows your down.

BTW the complete NIS 2007 beta used less resoiurces on my PC and other tests rigs then Nod32 does, thats good for a complete package V plain antiviri, Norton 360 is replacement for 2007 it will no longer be 2008/2009 etc, its aimed really at Vista ideally.

Now if you hate Norton fine but STFU and dont bother commenting here then, go and wank of at your Nod32 or other, Ive tried them all and Nod32 aint for my cutomers as far to user unfriendly, and Kaspersky 2006 NIS used to (not sure if fixed since release) break CHKDSK (read on their forums).

I just installed this on my Vista rig (using XP complitablity mode), installation went smoothly, taking about 8 mintues without any restarts. It's not very configurable, with only "shallow" settings, NIS, NAV offers more advance settings. The interface is quite fast. This Norton 360 is more suited for the average users.

I've tried this Symantec product, well i have to admit that it is better than Norton antivirus 2007, but still it is made for those persons who have any idea how to switch on pc or how to change desktops background ...

For me this product is not acceptable because it has no tools for advanced users. So I’ll stay with kaspersky internet security, because it is very easy to use for basic user, and also is so very easily configurable for advanced users.

this antivirus is for high end pc's, it takes a lot of resources, so if you don`t want your pc slow down don't use it. Personally i recomend NOD32 for antivirus and kerio sunbelt for firewall these works on every machine and dont slow down your system.
