1. Install NAV 2007 Retail. Activate It. (If you do not have installed it yet.)
2. Uninstall NAV 2007 Retail.
3. Install NAV 2008 Trial. Try to Activate and then Select Activate Later.(You will have 15 days of trial period.)
4. Reboot using CD/USB or some other operating system.
5. Replace the CLTVault.dll(version 15.0.0.58)(NAV\External\NORTON) with NAV 2007(Version 14)(NAV\Parent\NORTON)
6. Reboot and try to activate your copy(click View Options). It would give an error message box and link to Symantec knowledge base.
7. Skip the Norton Account Creation.
8. You will have the same subscription days that were remaining in NAV 2007 Retail.
9. DO NOT LiveUpdate, else you would lose the subscription.

This doesn't work!!!
It worked for a couple of days then NAV 2008 shows an error and states that you must uninstall and reinstall program to fix the problem!

Just install it on 01/01/2020, after all is finish, set your computers date to actual date.

Hi guys, did anyone try Sir007's process ? I tried it and 10years activation also. Updated it but now its only few hours. What I did was to try it on a new installation. Let us see if it works.

hi darenhoff. are you sure your LiveUpdate is up to date?. Just run your NAV program and click tab "run LiveUpdate". wait until finish. after that, your vir def is up to date.
