Guys read given instructions carefully before saying "crack not working".
I have few questions though,
1)After succesfull crack can we again turn on option of "turn on protection for norton product".
2)If patch files are used instead of manual crack do we still need to install NIS07 first or can we directly install NIS08 and then use patch files.
Wondering if same steps can be applied for NORTON 360 Ver.2. Any idea?

Earlier I found the old manaul (guess this is the new manual), and it's working fine on XP.

If I may, 2 questions:
1- Are all 4 patches (incl. the green-patch) yours or dazza's?
2- The settings.dat-patch is affecting the language if used in non-english NIS08.
Things seems to work fine however, but the general settings (red or green letters)
will be displayed in english if the patches are used for non-english 08 versions.
Is there a way to use patches for NIS08 non-english WITHOUT affecting the language?

hi Riskid, the Patch made by dazza is put from installation NIS08 v15.5.0.23 on dazza's PC, under Windows XP SP2, on drive C and with English Language vers. So, it will not work correctly if you used non Windows XPSP2, or drive installation is not on drive C, or your NIS version is not english lang.

Riskid, You can make a patch yourself with non english version with the following method :
Install nis08 non english language with my instruction, and after all finished, go to safe mode and put the 4 files seems like dazza's patch.
Apply your patch to another computers without changing pc's date. But remember, the specification drive, os, language and version must be same. and of course, you still have install nis07 first.

Thx for the answer. Now NIS08 v15.0.0.60 is running fine for 6 weeks having used your
old manual. So I was wondering if something has changed before installing v15.5.0.23.

Installing 08 using just your manual and the 1 future activated CLTVault from NIS07
is working for all non-english 08 without affecting the language. Think I prefer that,
even if it's a longer way (I got used to it by now...LOL).

Again, if I may, some questions (just to make sure):
1- When talking about "making a patch" is that like using 3 or 4 files?
2- Are the 4 patches (+ separate green-patch) the same as used for NIS08 v15.0.0.60?
3- Not many people know about the green patch. Does that mean it's not always needed?

And didn't u somewhere said your Indonesian? In that case maybe u can also help me
remember the meaning of: "Akoe seneng karoe koweh" (sounds like that).

Back to NIS08, About reinstalling NIS08 ? yes you can. Remember that, once your pc ever installed NIS 2007, you can reinstalling NIS08 without installing NIS 2007 again. To make it possible, you need another files/folder and some registry. ok lets do it:
Install NIS07 then NIS08 in the future date. After all finish and before you change your PC date back to actual date,
go to safe mode and backup the following files, folder and registry.
1. /program files/common files/symantec shared/CCPD-LC (All files in the folder)
2. Registry files,
HKLM>Software>Symantec>CCPD-LC (export as registry)
HKLM>Software>Symantec>CCPD>CLTNetConnect (export as Registry)
3. the 3 files as dazza patches
4. CLTVault.dll NIS07

when you reinstalling NIS08, do the following steps (of course in actual date) :
1. Replace back point 1 and run the registry (point 2) before installing NIS08
2. Install NIS08
3. After Finish you will got 0 day subscription
4. go to safe mode and Replace back point 1,3, and 4.
5. done. your nis will fully activated.

note : better if you backup too the following folder :
/documents and settings/All users/Application Data/Symantec/LiveUpdate.(in future date)

if you get the problem with Automatic LiveUpdate such as downloaded files cannot be installed, go to safe mode and delete the folder (LiveUpdate) in the location above and then take the backup folder (LiveUpdate) to the same location above.

Which of the CLTVault's should be used? The file in step 4 is the same as in step 3 (in dazza's patches-pack).

2- About making own patches: can u pls give a step by step manual for making your own patches for non-english 08?
Do you mean this with your earlier explanation:
a- Install 07 & 08 the future way and save the final 4 files of 08 with the same name as dazza's patches
(that should be: 1 future-activated CLTVault.dll of NIS07 and 3 future-installed files of NIS08.)
b- Done! These 4 patches can be used on any other pc without install 07 first, but NOT on the pc they're made on!
(maybe except after re-installing XP or formatting pc?)

3- Does every used method requires installing 07 first (also when using dazza's patches or own-made patches)?

OK then, u found the new NIS-page. But what's wrong with the patches/manual/links? Til now phone-activation for
NIS08 is not possible, as far as I know. So til now no keygen, no phone-activation for 08. But there are 2 other
options left if u follow the links on the other NIS 9down-page or right here.

BTW For NIS06 there's also still no keygen, so waiting for a NIS08 keygen might be a long wait!

1. for reinstalling NIS08, yes step 4 is same from dazza's patch. forget it.
2. for installing NIS08 in another PC, you must install NIS 2007 first, then install NIS08, then apply the files like dazza's patch in safe mode.
(if you read the dazza's patch instruction, he said that you must install NIS07 first too!!)

Riskid. Now about creating patch for reinstalling NIS 2008. Reinstalling mean, you ever installed NIS08 full or NIS07 full and planning to uninstall and then install again in another time. I Said, in Future date when you install NIS08 with my instruction and before you change to the actual date, put the 6 files (3 likes dazza, CCPD-LC folder, the registry, and optional LiveUpdate folder) and take it in save place. when you want to install NIS08, first replace back CCPD-LC folder and run the registry, then install NIS08 until finish, you will get 0 day subscription, after that go to safe mode and replace 4 files (3 likes dazza, plus CCPD-LC folder again), done.

rrd84. I'm sorry but the NIS 2008 can be patch only if your PC enable to install NIS07. And as Riskid said, the symantec All product 2008 cannot be cracked because they remove phone activation methode. But My Instruction can be applied in all Norton 2008 product. there are 2 important point, the future date installation and CLTVault from Norton 2007 product. so in case of NAV08 (install in future date), you can install NAV07 with keygen, then install NAV08, then copy CLTVault from NAV07 to program files/norton antivirus/ in safe mode, then set back your PC date to actual date. done.

When installing NAV08 isn't the "Wait 1 day" necessary too, like for NIS08?

Just to make sure, what exacly is meant by "wait a day"? Is that like:
1- Shut down pc after the first NIS08 update, do not restart pc, and wait 1 day?
2- Do not connect to internet for a day after restart?
3- Do not run/update NIS08 for a day after restart?

When having installed NIS08 v15.0.0.60 I did the first option. Can you tell why it's
really that important to wait 1 day?

About wait for 1 day, forget it. it just to check if the subscription will change day to day. in another case, it will static in 4015 day and not change day to day, and after 1 week it will expired.

Riskid. now about Reinstalling NIS08. forget about my previous post. Its a simple to reinstall NIS08. If you ever install NIS08 with my instruction try the following step:
1. uninstall NIS08, but LET LiveUpdate PROGRAM STILL LIVE IN YOUR PC. DO NOT UNINSTALL IT.
2. if you want to install NIS08 again, Just install NIS08 directly. When Activation step appear, do not click "Next", not yet.
3. Replace CLTVault.dll NIS07 to /Program files/Norton Internet Security/.
4. after that back to activation popup window and click Next, Next, ok, cancel, skip.
5. Done. your NIS is live again.

My friend is using siro07 cracking method on NIS 2008 on VISTA ultimate without problem on NSW 2007-08 including dazz method...only manual update from 1 month...

& installed NIS08 15.5.0.23. Somewhere something went wrong, coz I could't connect to internet.
Re-installed NIS07, still no internet. Just 1 update NIS07 succeeded. But my email was working
& and I still could download through LimeWire etc. Later I discovered the prob: in
IE->Connections->LAN the Proxyserver was on, but should NOT be!

Later today I'll install NIS08 15.5.0.23 again. Great if waiting a day is not necessary.
That was the only reason why I was looking for a way how to re-install 08.

BTW I discovered some important steps are missing in the new manual. For starters it can be
confusing. So I'll send u an updated version if u like.

I just looked at my mail & thx. (No need to say sorry, also coz I was not migrating from
15.0.0.60 to 15.5.0.23. I installed using your install-manual.) Before I'm gonne the mail
just letting u & ANYONE ELSE interested knowing this:

Last 3 days NIS08 v15.5.0.23 was installed 3 times using siro07's. After the first install
IE couldn't connect to internet normally. Tried a second a second install, again IE failed.
Then installed 07 with kg, still IE failed!

Then I found the prob: in IE->Connections->LAN the Proxyserver was ON, but should be OFF!
So after the thirth install of 08, before connecting to internet, I first checked the settings
in IE->Connections->LAN. Again the proxyserver was checked, but this time I know what to do.
Conclusion: maybe it's my pc, maybe NIS08 v15.5.0.23 is playing tricks. So in case of, u all know.

BTW NIS08 v15.5.0.23 did NOT require a restart when installing. And after the first update also
no restart was needed & all was up-to-date. Again, maybe my pc but maybe a good thing of this NIS.

Maybe this would help: try siro07's manual and run the update only manual (turn off the auto-update).
Wheather you use siro07's manual or the patches: update only manually (by NIS itself) and turn off auto-update.

Do u have XP or Vista? And what does your friend have which successfully installed NIS08?
BTW NIS07 V10.2.0.30 is compatible with Vista!

It doesn't matter which NIS07 use you. Fact is that if u want to install NIS08 that NIS07 must be installed first.
And you CAN update NIS08 online. Just to make sure it's better to turn off nis08 auto-update, and run Live update
from NIS08 manually. By that I don't mean getting the updates from Symantec manually but running NIS08 Live update!

My advise would be: use siro07's manual so that for NIS08 u just need the original CLTVault.dll from NIS07.
With siro07's permission I wrote a new, shorte manual. Maybe it will help:

Before installing NIS08 DISCONNECT internet! If NIS07 is installed it should be removed completely.
Run the Norton Removal Tool and remove all NIS07 left-overs manually.

01- Set the pc to a future date, as example: --/--/20--. (NOTE: installed trial-programs will expire.)

02- Install NIS07 and activate it by using the EDGE-keygen. Do NOT activate NIS07 for more years then the
the pc has been forwarded!

03- When finished copy and save the CLTVault.dll in C:/Program Files/Norton Internet Security/

04- Unistall NIS07, and install NIS08. At the last step choose: Next, Activate later, and then No.
The 15/90 days trial subscription will be active.

05- Run NIS08, go to NIS Options and at "General options" disable "Turn on protection for Norton-products".

06- Copy the earlier saved CLTVault.dll from NIS 2007 into C:/Program Files/Norton Internet Security/

07- In NIS08 run Activation and click Next, Next, OK, Cancel, Skip. The chosen subscription will be activated.

08- Set the pc date back to the actual date and restart the pc.

09- Run NIS08, go to NIS Options and at "General options" enable "Turn on protection for Norton-products".

Done! NIS08 should have the chosen subscription with all feature's available.

Must be ur OS. The patch is working for almost all users, except hte fake comments. It's even for multilanguage NIS08-version, as confirmed by reliable users.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unrar, Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.

2. DISCONNECT FROM THE INTERNET! THIS IS IMPORTANT!

3. Run the installer, and run the keygen located in the EDGE dir.

4. Select your product then generate and copy the Product Key from
the keygen to the Norton Setup then press the I Agree button..

5. Complete installation and finally you will get to the activation,
it's important that you are NOT connected to the Internet!
Press the Next button.

6. You will get to a screen that tells you that you will need Internet
connectivity to continue, just press the Next Button two times until
Internet Explorer opens and tells you "Internet Explorer cannot
display the webpage"

7. Now copy the entire long URL from Internet Explorer into the keygen
in the Request URL field, select how many years you would like to
activate for and press the bottom most generate button.

8. Wait a few secs, magic is happening, then you will again be told
that you need Internet connectivity to create your Norton Account,
just press the Skip button.

9. Make a big smile as you see your subscription status :)

10. Enjoy a fully unlocked copy, and naturally DO NOT register this
software with Symantec, you can now reconnect to the Internet.

Posting some links here is not allowed. NIS 2008 v15.5 at Pirate Bay (org): NIS 2008 Final [EDGE] [RH]

New EDGE's keyge for NIS 2008, NAV 2008 and 360 v2 can activate all those 3 suites. Just find that keygen from the internet since am now allowed to post external links. That keygen is designed to activate NIS 2008 15.0 and NAV 2008 15.0 so it won't instantly work with versions 15.5 of NIS 2008 and NAV 2008. I have found out how to activate 15.5 versions. Here it goes...

Norton 360 v2 can be instantly activated by that keygen by just following the above steps, but for Norton internet security 2008 (15.5) and probably for AV 2008 (15.5) too you will have to follow these steps:
-Make sure you are connected to the internet.
-After you enter the 25 digit product key, click Next.
-Now it will try to validate that key with their database and fail and will now give you an option to enter another product key.
*Choose to do so but before proceeding D/C from the internet. Now just follow the above installation instruction #6-10 that I have posted above*

Tested and managed to activate them too.

Vista users: If that won't do then right click and select "Run As Administrator".
