Installation:

just install nis2009, at the end of installation it will say you to activate
use edge's kgn for nis08 generate serial just like nis2008, enter it, click activate, at last it should open an int explorer window just copy the url "REPLACE ALL 8 WITH 9 AFTER THE FIELDS OF YOUR PRODUCT KEY" select how many years you want, "ND U R DONE!!!!!!!"

Hi Computerguru! The serial which was generated by NIS2008's keygen doesn't work for NIS2009. However, I have applied the NIS2007's key for installing NIS2009 successfully, but after installing, I can't active to remove 15 day trying. I also try to active NIS2009 by using NIS2008's keygen but I have failed.
I think we should wait the team EDGE issuing the new keygen for NIS2009 in next short time.

As a beta tester for IS2009 I got am email offer for IS 2009 for 3 pcs for $34.99. Seems like this is a great deal. I used edge for the 2008 version but it took them a long time to come up with a keygen. I hate to say it, but for less than $12 a pc how can you go wrong.

actually live update is working perfectly without uninstalling crack...at least for me

if u r facing problem of nag screen/activation window, then do one thing

copy live update shortcut from startmenu folder to desktop n run it, then it doesn't open nag screen/activation screen

i can testify to that.Tried the crack for the pre release but it didnt work.went to norton site and downloaded a trial verson of the final build and installed the crack while disconnected from net and BOOM!!! it just keeps saying 15 days trial. been using it for a week now(still says 15 days).THankx a mllie. now if only i had the keygen.........

Hello,i just noticed that if NIS 2009 is not activated spyware protection is off even if it shown as on is NIS menu.If you go to Windows Security Center and then to malware protection and click on "Show me the antispyware programs on this computer you will see that spyware protection is off and if click on it and try to turn it on a popup screen goes up telling you to activate NIS 2009.So i think wee need a keygen or something else to use the full capabilities of NIS 2009.

NOTE:

ALL ABOVE ARE DONE/EXECUTED IN NORMAL MODE...

EVERY TIME I INSTALL ANY NEW VER. OF NORTON PRODUCT..
1st I RUN latest Norton Removel tool..
Then Registry Cleaner..
Then the installation of new NORTON product..
During all these procedure PC wasnt connected to the internet..

IS THERE ANY SOLUTION FOR ALL THIS..
EXCEPT HDD FORMAT?

i probably i can help u..follow these steps...
1.run norton removal tool..then restart..
2.delete the following folder..C:\ProgramData\Norton it can be hidden in some PC's..so un hide it and just delete it
3.disconnect from net and install NIS2009..u will see at the end..that there's "0" days remain..don't worry..
4.after install..run the trial reseter as an administrator...
5.restart your PC and connect to net..you will see the green colour returned with 15 days trial :-))
6.ENJOY IT.. and don't forget to tell us back if it works with u

there is no need to run norton removal tool to uninstall older version before installing new version
u can uninstall it safely from start menu folder uninstall option

first of all I installed norton 360 v1.0 & then uninstalled after 2 months
then installed norton 360 v2.0 & uninstalled after 1 month
then installed NIS08 15.5 & uninstalled after 1 month
then finally installed NIS09 16.0 n it's working very well with trial reset crack

don't worry ..just restart your PC..and you'll see...if persist....click on activation TAB...4-5 times repeatidly..but offline..not while u connected to the net...then restart the pc...it must work

i recommended u install NAV2009 OEM 90 days or KIS 2009...becouse NIS2008 is very bad product...have zero proactive defense...if u'll get trojan ..your PC will shut down and won't restart...it happened with me several times with trojan Vertumonde!!..KIS2009 clean it up...if u want..I'll send u kis keys :-)

I had the same problem on one PC but the reset program worked fine in other two.
The problem was that the service that runs the reset was not present in the hive of the registry of only that PC under: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\.norton2009Reset
but it existed as well as in the other two Pc's in:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet1\Services\.norton2009Reset
So export the branch, edit with notepad delete all "1" for ...ControlSet1 , save the file and combine.

Version 1.2 is out. It lets you convert a 15-day trial into a 90-day trial and the date still doesn't countdown. Go to mediafire and use the share key below. To convert, you need to install it in Safe Mode (F8).

the 90 days was only for Norton AntiVirus (NAV) 2009.

My problem is :

when 1st time I installed NIS 2009 v16.0.0.125 on my PC,
I had executed Norton2009_TrialReset.exe v1.1 as "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" option..!
nag screen appears everytime I open Norton main window..!!
Now it shows 11 day remaining..!!

so, is there an appears of a nag screen when you open up NIS 2009 main window,
after successful execution of Norton2009_TrialReset_(x32)_1.0??

ALL BELOW ARE DONE/EXECUTED IN NORMAL MODE...

before installetion of NIS 2009 v16.0.0.125 on my PC,
I had NIS 2009 v16.0.0.69 installed with 7day trial &
I had executed Norton2009_TrialReset.exe as "RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR" option..!
on it..

before this I had NIS 2008 v15.5.0.23 with Edge 3yrs subscription..

ok..

before installation of NIS 2009 v16.0.0.125 on my PC,
I had Uninstalled Norton2009_TrialReset_(x32)_1.0 & restarted PC..
& run Norton Removel tool restar PC..
run registry clener Restart PC...

NOTE:

ALL ABOVE ARE DONE/EXECUTED IN NORMAL MODE...

EVERY TIME I INSTALL ANY NEW VER. OF NORTON PRODUCT..

1st I RUN latest Norton Removal tool..
Then Registry Cleaner..
Then the installation of new NORTON product..
During all these procedure PC wasn't connected to the internet..

IS THERE ANY SOLUTION FOR ALL THIS..
EXCEPT HDD FORMAT?

great patch..works like a charm...i patched it in safe mode..because i didn't have access to sittings in order to turn off the tamper protection when NIS expired...after that it asked me to register a new 90 days :-))

My friend activated this about a Month ago and did not get new look to GUI

Also when he clicks on subscription the renew now icon is there still and standard blue buttons, he also has blue button at bottom of GUI saying renew subscription still where in your crack everything is different

When you have the trial reset so you got 15 days the subscription status is not visible, so put my file (npcstatus.loc) if you have not already in directory and now check subscription
You will now see you have over 300 days

Try this for vista, but you must disable trial reset after.

There is a problem with dazza's crack on my Norton Internet Security. The program works after you apply his patch but after a day or two it nags me to activate it. Re-patching the program helps, but it only takes a matter of days and after that, Norton will nag you again... the crack is used on Norton Internet Security 2009 16.1.0.33. Dazza crack working fine for me, had 346 days now have 343 days, if you install dazza 346 days then go to options and click on subscription status although this will take it down to 343 days it might work for you

If you all do what dazza says in read me then this will work

If trial reset was working for you then dazza crack will work.

Install trial reset so you have 15 days then paste npcstatus.loc and npcstatus.dll from dazza crack, then go to options and check subscription status, it will now change from 15 days to over 400 days.Have tried this and it works without fail. How dazza done this i dont know.
Dont forget to disable trial reset after

I say its working perfectly but there is just one annoying thing. Norton keeps reticking the Check for Server Certificate Revocation setting on my IE7 settings thus preventing MSN from signing in and it does it every time I log onto my PC or restart or boot up. Anyone any ideas on how to stop Norton re-ticking this setting?

Right click the ISBranding file and choose copy then close that window. Then open the destination folder and right click and paste it. It happened to me and you have to close the first window before you paste it across or do it in safe mode.

it deletes anything on your comp. without asking ,i installed and had to remove then and there since,there is no flexibility or even if you add something to exclusion even then it deletes it and ask to restart everytime. i bought kaspersky more flexible and better to control on network not like norton internet security which is so confusing and disables all network after installation, who has the time to enable selected networks one by one?
Some fools have created it with cheap graphics and no systematic option and operations.

Anyone else having problems getting this update to apply that use Dazza's trick? I am assuming it is this particular update as its called NIS Engine Norton 2009 Product Update and my version number is still showing 16.1.0.33 and it keeps failing. Tried all sorts to get it to install with Liveupdate but no joy. When clicking on tech support underneath the error, the Oneclick support screen doesnt load (assume because its not a legit copy?). Apparently on this Oneclick support there is a autofix function which checks your norton installation for any problems but I cant get to it.

Anyone know if there is a manual way to install this update or a trick/tip to get liveupdate to install this update?

To download the patch, simply run LiveUpdate and the patch will be downloaded. If the patch doesn't download, then it may have already been downloaded through Automatic LiveUpdate. If this is the case, then all you will need to do is reboot your computer. To verify that you have the patch, simply launch your Norton product, click on Help & Support, then click About. Thanks rrd but I sorted it myself before I looked back on here by uninstalling Norton with removal tool and downloading the latest version from Symantec site and I was ready to reapply the crack from Dazza but it seemed to keep the activation from the previous install :) so all is now ok, got 16.2.07 with the same activation days

Does anyone have th Dazza crack! All the links here are blocked. Please. I really need that.
I was using norton trial reset and for some reason after updating to 16.5.0.135 the trial days was counting down...
Anyone can help me?

Can you tell me where to place the files ?? I replaced every file i could find with the windows search with the one out of your rar file, but it did not work. NIS doesnt start up anymore :-(

I had a problem with extracting the files, now I see where to place them. I tried it with NIS 16.5.0.134 but it did not work, i have 0 days now and NIS is giving an error message. I will try now with 16.1.0.33, what must I do (which files must I keep) to keep the original GUI ???

Is it possible just to get subsciption without changing the GUI? cause i have german NIS version and it's half english and half german after I replace all files.
