OpenOffice.org is the open source project through which Sun Microsystems is releasing the technology for the popular StarOffice productivity suite. It is an international office suite that will run on all major platforms and provide access to all functionality and data through open-component based APIs and an XML-based file format. It establishes the necessary facilities to make this open source technology available to the developer community!

Yeah, right. Steal MS Office 2007 instead of installing a free and great office suite. Genious idea. And what about Linux? It's better to download MS Windows, right? Don't think so.

eXPerience's Windows XP are among the best operating systems available for free (& updatable, of course). Smaller, more stable and faster than any current operating system. He even tweaked Windows 2003 and optimized it for gaming (standalone and for home use). How to download? Just do a torrent search. Key word: eXPerience. Good luck.

Open office 2.1 opens big .xls and .doc documents faster than open office 2.0.4, its a must download!!!

It's my first time to install OOo and it's so great. It has all the features of MS Office and it's faster, lighter and it exports documents as PDF! I removed Adobe Acrobat 8 and installed the reader only when I fount this amazing tool...I recommend it to anyone!
Well, i'll agree the 'amazing tool' part of it but sorry to say that its NOT faster than MS Office 2003 but hey, opensource softwares keep improving, kepp improving, keep improving keep improving keep improving......... :)

OOo is portable but MS Office is not! For me, it 's very good. Thanks Sun Microsystems
