They say it's the faster browser for windows but not on my machine , firefox is much faster and a lot of peopel will prefer Firefox over Opera cause Opera cause of the ads thing,Firefox have adblock plus and Opera has nothing bout the ads

@boromeo Well, actually Opera do have built-in ad-blocker, but it's not really user-friendly and less powerful than firefox anyway. For how to use it, just go to Opera forum, it's a sticky topic there.
@some1 How can Netscape has less bugs than Firefox? It actually just old version of Firefox wrapped with Netscape brand and rarely updated.

I use Opera 9.10 build 8679. It says "You are using the latest version of Opera" when i click help/check for updates". What is wrong!!

Avant browser is based on IE. Anything that's based on IE is insecure. Proof: The recent Windows Animated Cursor Bug. It affects all windows-nt based OSes, and can be exploited using a browser. Yes, it EVEN WORKS ON FIREFOX! However, Opera was the ONLY browser that wasn't vulnerable to this exploit!
When even Firefox is vunlerable to such security risks, poor IE-based browsers.. what chance do they have? :P
