Dont curse me on my opinion.

The best download manager is FDM.
FDM was my first download manager.
Then after reading all "the best download manager comments" i tried IDM,Flashget,Orbit,DAP

You get the point.
Here is what i think.

IDM- A download manager on the rise.
Very stable and often bug fixes.Featured added very often.

Flashget- Lacks several download manager requirements.

DAP- Also another good download manager but reputation=low.Maybe because of its price tag.
Good featured download manager.

Orbit Downloader- Another download manager on the rise.Average features but good download management(download speeds).

FDM- The download manager that suits me.
It was made with all the features that Download managers are adding now.very stabe download manager.Easy integration with Opera,Firefox,IE,Maxthon etc.(no plugins required)
Zip preview,audio preview,video preview,password management etc.
BEST OF ALL ITS FREE.

Here are my ratings(dont curse me)

1.FDM(free download management.
2.IDM(internet download manager)
3.DAP(download accelerator plus)
4.Orbit Downloader.
5.Flashget/Reget Deluxe/All Other.

Well, I have relied on FlashGet for all my downloads for more than 3 years now. I have not been dissappointed! However, I find that IDM is equally a very good downloader. I like it but still prefer Flashget. Vaff

I've used Get Right for years, it isn't popular
with all the free ones. But its reliable without
any malware, ads or cookies.Why try another one?

IDM is Ideal ,User friendly ,maneuverable ,simple
but with NOT adequate features n options
FDM is good ,Orbit too
flashget downloaded files have CRC error sometimes ,SPECIALLY if from serveral mirrors simult
NetTransport is good ,full featured ,torrent sup & ...

but flashget has a feature that [i think fdm has it ,too] can resume half-downloaded files

but i use IDM ,for its power for download really nice from SHARING sites ,RapidSh*t Mega...

mine too... but in times, when I need a youtube I rely on Orbit

how to download a video from youtube using Orbit?
I tried but I couldn't

It is the best downloader i ever used....
if u are suing ie .. just point to the video and a 'GET IT' menu of orbit jump out .. click it and download as flv... done...
if using firefox...
right click at the top button of video (assume u have orbit addon is install in firefox)
and click Grab Video by Orbit ...
quite easy to use and it works well on ie and firefox =)
so love it =)

idm is for me the best download manager it braks the download into multiple ones and download it 500 times faster

Actually I think most of the download managers do that.

This has got to be the best download manager.

Just the fact it can download Youtube videos or any flash video is amazing.

And its free too!
