Ya, we need a key for such a great firewall.

i tried this the other day, i seriously don't think it is that user-friendly....
also it always pops up with these annoying boxes asking if u want to appy changes to the newly changed something. U'll see....
So, it may not be user friendly to you, but the alerts that you get indicate that it's working and.....that's all that matters.
Outpost is rated as one of the top Firewalls available.
That's good enough for me and the millions of other users who have it on their systems.
that means it is working.
plus you can select to makes the changes "shared" so all the applications that use the new dlls, will not create new warnings.
plus this function is required only at start, when you setup all your appz, after that, only when you install/upgrade something will generate those messages..

Sure they work. I used the first Family key and the proggie's registed.
Did you reboot after the installation?
When Outpost opens, cut and paste the reg key and it will (should) say Thank you for registering.
Oh yea, did you uninstall the previous version and delete all the (Agnitum) entries in your Registry?
Maybe you left some key values behind that prevent the proper registration.

Keys don't work! Every one says the program is successfully registered but when i restart the program it doesn't seem to remember the reg info and says it is unregistered! Anyone know a workaround. I have tried reinstalling...deleting all the registry keys to no avail!
Thanks guys

Okay, for all of you that say it doesn't stay registered...
STOP UPDATING FROM THEIR SERVER.
Uncheck all the Update/Download/etc options under Tools.
...and *BLOCK* "AUPDRUN.EXE" and "OUTPOST.EXE" from -all- communications. (Options...Application tab)
The funny thing is that you had to have -allowed- these programs to phone home and unregister itself...if you're going to use a software firewall (of which Outpost is the best :P), they're all useless if you don't pay attention to the firewall rules it asks you to build. :)
...it'd also be a good idea to get the Blocklist plugin from the Outpost forum so that you can use one of the 34985723486587234687562345 blocklists out there used to block connections to 'bad' IPs on P2P services/bittorrent/etc. You can just get PeerGuardian, get a blocklist for it, then Export from that to 'Blockpost 2.x' format and import that into Outpost's Blockpost plugin (...and unload/disable PeerGuardian, duh)
I have those two processes blocked, and I still can't get the key to work. It says "thank you for registering" and then immediately says "the key you have entered is invalid" and shuts down. I can't get into the program to make any changes. I can't revert to the previous working version I had anymore either, it now does the same thing.
Another funny thing is that i have fisically disconnected the pc from internet and still it says "key is not valid" after the "succesfully registered" message

wtf trush key finder? how can remover trial process of OUT POST? if anyone know, tell me :)
This program searches for the keys of protection stored in the register.
Technology: we Stop Outpost (" the Exit with a stop of service ")
We start Registry Trush Keys Finder
We delete ALL(!) found keys.
We restart Outpost.
Again a trial as the newcomer... Also it is not necessary a valid key!

Grevic is right - I started Registry Trush Keys Finder (the link is somewhere above), deleted all the found keys - and for these 3 days left I still have 30 days left =))
So you you don't need a key because you always have 30 days after deleting those keys!
Thanks, grevic and good luck for all ;)

Oh, I forget!!! The keys found by the Registry Trush Keys Finder will have some absurd names... But YOU HAVE TO DELETE THEM ALL in order for get rid of the counter!
2 samuraion510: EVERY protection stores some valuable information in the registry but sometimes in a tricky way... The Registry Trush Keys Finder knows where to search and what to search (including famous protections like Armadillo and ASProtect)
