Prism video file conversion software is a free video file format converter for Windows. It can convert video files from avi, mpg, vob, wmv (Windows Media Video formats) and more into avi, asf or wmv files. Prism video converter is very easy to use. Just add the files you want to convert to the list, select the format you want to use, and then click the convert button.

something is not right with this prog ;-))
the converted avi becomes 10x larger than the mpg. and the mpg>>wmv is soundless and not working ;-(((--pluto

This is an ok program but if your looking to convert video files I would recommend using, Windows Movie Maker, DivX Converter, RAD Video Tools, QuickTime Pro, & WinAVIVideoConverter. All these programs work well & are not hard to find.

Sounds like you aren't setting a video compression codec (eg. xvid/divx/etc)

Not so good.

Total video Converter & VideoZilla are so far the best converter because they can convert from anything, to anything. Please let me know if i'm wrong but there is no PERFECT converter out there.

But these two are the best! I can even convert FLV SWF (common youtube video format) into wmv or mpg or avi etc using these two video converter.

Total video Converter Can Convert anything,but....Sound Quality is bad,I Have Convert Music Video From .Flv To mpeg-4 Video ,the video is ok but the sound is bad....
do you know how to convert .flv to mpeg4 video without losing video & Audio Quality?Sorry All for being Of Topic.And Somebody Have A Converter that can convert anything without losing quality?

you are right, bro big bambu ;-)) i got those codec reinstalled and now it is ok. but i still like the aurora mediaworkshop best ;=))) thanks again, bro big bambu,- regards/pluto
