    QuickTime Alternative will allow you to play QuickTime (.mov .qt) files. This way there is no need to install the offical QuickTime Player. As a bonus, Internet Explorer will play all QuickTime movies that are embedded in a webpage. You do need a player that is capable of handling QuickTime movies. The included Media Player Classic works very well with QuickTime.Whats new :
    • Added an option to compress the installed files to save harddisk space
    • Added some extra QuickTime plugins
    • Added QuickTime DirectShow filter
    • Updated QuickTime Codecs to 6.5.0.48
    • Updated QuickTime Browser plugin to 6.5.0.48
    • Updated Media Player Classic to 6.4.7.5
    • Minor fixes
