i have Realtek AC97 Audio Alc850 .............is there a softwere for visto to this driver??????

8-Channel only should use the HD Driver in my opinion
that is a 7.1Codec

For Trouble free use try to stick with
what the motherboard vendor has on there web site
and check FAQ's for you're mobo
the problem might be rosolved in writting for you.

What is the problem?  This file has the same # of D613D196FF26E035C029B4B23F3FD135 as the one I downloaded from the Realtek site after 1st_2 Comment's virus warning.  There is no pleasing some people and unless someone is very clever and can alter a file without changing it's hash signature! BTW Avg says this file is clean.

Be carefull once codecs are stuffed up
only formatting and a re-install of windows
will get the onbord sound working properly again.
