R1.55 This is for Vista Only.
R1.54 is for Windows 2000, Windows XP/2003(32/64 bits)

Hm, I can't record my voice by headphone. My mainboard's Giga 61PM2 and I'm using sound onboard. Anything else for using it (recording) ? . ?

It would be VERY NICE if dear Realtek would finally give us a FULLY WORKING DRIVER for XP/2003, 32 i 64bit. Only then I could believe that they are capable of producing normal driver for Vi$ta.
Yes, I am very unhappy user of a mobo (Gigabyte 945p-s3) which has an integrated Realtek 883. During the setup, each and every driver version gives whole lot of troubles, and you end up with very unreliable audio device. You boot up and see that only the front panel speaker outs (stereo) are available instead of 5.1. Next time the bloody thing is giving you stupid messages etc. etc.

Does this support all the ac97 chips i.e alc655 ?
