this won't work with ALC655?

Thats becuase the alc655 is only a
AC97 Codec Go to realtek.com.tw
and look untill u find
the driver download section there it
will tell you the chipset family's these drivers belong to
and that family only. You need the A397 Diver for you're sound chip or refer to the motherboard vendor if having trouble with newest driver.

Audio Codec-Drivers will be there for AC97 or
High Def.Chips starting at 850 and higher.
