SiSoftware Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is an information & diagnostic utility. It should provide most of the information (including undocumented) you need to know about your hardware, software and other devices whether hardware or software. It works along the lines of other Windows utilities, however it tries to go beyond them and show you more of what's really going on. Giving the user the ability to draw comparisons at both a high and low-level. You can get information about the CPU, chipset, video adapter, ports, printers, sound card, memory, network, Windows internals, AGP, ODBC Connections, USB2, 1394/Firewire, etc.
don't forget to go through the CONNECT Wizard on the first use!

Offtopic: I don't get it why people want to use Vista. No microsoft OS is any good until it is like 3 or 4 years old. You people want to have problems with your computers - that's it!

doesn't work even when using the wizard dude and I don't use vista as main os just isntalled it to check things out. --- The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( SandraDataSrv ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SandraDataSrv error: -2146762496, Initialisation failed ---- I had tried all options in the wizard before posting.
I had to swap the "SandraDataSrv" file from the old release to get it to load.
are you even freaking using windows XP x64/Vista x64?

There are personal opinions and there are facts, dude. And the fact is that the Vista OS sucks and it will suck till Microsoft issues an SP1 at least! And if you do not have any professional experience with the MS products, don't lecture people who know more than you do!

Well for me it's a turn off .... The program isn't working on my x64 system. I'm getting the "famous" database error :S Will wait for another update .. untill then I'll stick to XIb.v2007.2.11.17 it's good enough for me..

Anyways IS there no one that knows how to get the latest version of Sandra working on a standalone single computer running 64 bits windows XP.
