while skype was in beta, landline calls WERE free for about 6 months (offer ended 12/06)... now you still want it free???... I suppose you should get your home phone, cell phone, electricity, rent, cable, etc... free also?... dont act like such a putz... Skype is much the same as msn messenger... you have to pay to make landline calls with messenger also... they are all (chat clients) made for talking pc to pc for the most part... crap for $15 a yr. you can make all the calls you want with skype (just not recieve)... you sure couldnt do it on a landline phone that cheap... think about what you are posting it before you do... you insult the ppl that are intelligent and realize things in life just are't free as it would take away from the phone companies for example.... it would be nice if everything were free but that just isn't reality.

Anyhoo... thanks for the post... I really like using my skype for gaming and talking with my friends... its much improved the last several months.
