ElectriX: With respect, I think you are wrong. "Freeware can't be better than all shareware on the world" may sometimes be true but it is not a rigid rule.
In particular I usually run both, Spybot and Ad-Aware, they complement each other and both are useful. Normally I run Ad-Aware first and, when it would have to be clean, then Spybot finds dozens of objects.
Last version of Spybot is a nice program and you would have to try it and would change of opinion.
On the other hand, when soft is developed by hundreds or even thousands of contributions keeping in mind users (not $$$) like in Open Source, it can be reached excellent results.
There are tons of Freeware gems: - VirtualDub - GSpot - Subtitle Workshop - RenameMaster - DoubleKiller - DScaler - DAEMON Tools - DVD Decrypter (RIP) - DVD Shrink - WebMon - BSPlayer - Firefox - Photo Studio - HTML Blender - SmartMorph - POV-Ray - 3dsmax (just kidding) - WinPcap - ApiViewer - Unlocker - XviD Codec - Celestia - ALL Sysinternals Tools - SOME Gibson Research Tools - and... Linux
Just to only mention a few ones.
