Hmmmmm Norton Product by silverhawk on 2007-03-30 18:00:05
hmmmmmmmmmm norton is good but i like kaspersky, mcafee and pc-cillin currently i m running pc-cillin and i m satisfied with it. Earlier i have been using mcafee but now pc-cillin. i used norton but it slowed down my pc. so i decided to use mcafe total protection but that impacted my system performance. So i went back to trend micro and found info about pc-cillin internet security 2007 with vista support. installed on my notebook which has Vista business installed and not i m happy good powerful pc-cillin. kaspersky is also a good software but kaspersky people bring out betas every week i was fed up with that thing so i do not use this software.

I'm using -Edimax Router :D with "hardware" firewall -AVG free
I dont have any viruses, and problems. The key is im not visiting unrelyable pages. Thats all. And using Torrent with safe trackers.
i run my torrents in a 128M ram tiny xp vm under a 2k server that has squid+privoxy and symantec av client realtime with kapersky av manual.
save my torrents in the auto dl folder on the server, pick 'em up from the completed folder, all nice and squeaky clean.
don't need no av scanner on my workstation.
no viruses, and problems. the key is creating a security layer away from your pc. That's all. and i visit any page and use any tracker i damn well please, with full access to all of my cpu power.

I have been running Sym Corp AV for years after abolishing regular Norton AV.
Reason is: no expiery date , easyer to install, lighter load on computer and not as vurnable to Virus attacks (on it self). The client security part is not 100%, and will not always install. But the built-in pop-up/comercial blocker is the best you can get.
Try and find out yourself.
