The link from 9down IS working !! It's just that this site checks your "referer" = the site where you come from ! For the FlashGet users (like me) : do not click on the link, but drag it to the "drop zone" (feature from FlashGet) and you'll see it works !!! Please try this and post your result.

when moving the dll to the lib folder and running system mechanic 7 it tells me that system mechanic 7 is stuffed and needs to be reinstalled i was wondering if you had a better dll

TuneUP-2007 and WinXP Manager is better and does not use lots of resources comparatively to SysMech.

System Mechanic 7.1.7 Professional is "heavier" than TuneUp Utipities 2007. I compared them together and saw:
- Using memory: System Mechanic > TuneUp Utilities
- Functions: System Mechanic < Tunup Utilities
So I likes TuneUp Utilities than System Mechanic. About you ?

System Mechanic 7 Professional has much more functions than Tune Up Utilities 2007 but because it is heavier in feature it is slower and use more memory.

I'm was a customer of Iolo Tech. and had bought their Sys Mech 7. I found out that this program was absolutely useless. My KEY WAS BLACKLISTED and IOLO SUPPORT WAS UTTERLY DISGUSTING!
Use 'Xtra Tools' OR 'TuneUP Utilities XP' instead. Both work like charm!!!

Look dudes, no matter how clean you wipe out IOLO input Regs, they will still know if your version was expired or blacklisted. I believe what they might do is during IOLO installation they take your internet IP or your hard drive ID so that they know who is downloading what!!!

No patch around here work for version 7.1.X. All the patch I can find was by Betamaster (only two patches exist) which only work for version 7.0.X. Have people around here already given up ?

I bought System Mechanic 7.0 Pro, installed is, it went online to automatically upgrade to Vista version 7.1 and when the SMPro_dm.exe file finished downloading the 39mb file, it disappeared. No Installation, no SM7 Pro... NOTHING!!!
I've tried over 50 tmes. Called Iolo tech Support, Customer Care WHAT A JOKE,,,, just a loop around the voicemail system and to a receptionist that just referred me back to the online support area.
I have removed anti-virus, firewall etc. but still no luck.
Anybody have this same problem and resolve it?
