re-tried to install again. STILL will not let me install anything unless I un-install Norton. v5.5 gives me the option to not install the antivirus and firewall BEFORE the main installation onless you can prove differently.

hubs, I gotta tell ya, I used to use Norton but it was always eating up my system resources. An IT professional told me that Norton was no longer as good as it used to be.
I now use Kaspersky AV and anti-hacker with much better results and it consumes less system resources. System Mechanic has no problem with these programs. Norton's AV may be good but the firewall isn't. Not when you consider your other options.

FYI

yeah this new version give enrybody problem with the antivirus programs and firewall the old version is better cuz the new tools give alot of problem.

this SMPro is fully automatic that there is no option to ask the user before applying its tweak or confirmation making these tweaking tools a disaster to your computer

is there an undo function? i think its useless....

these tweaks i think will give you a problem ....  manage windows startup, and the one that cleans the registry

that older version is much better
