System Mechanic is a nice set of tools that will help you with regular maintenance of your system. Tools include disk clean up, fix broken shortcuts, remove duplicate files, securely delete files, clean registry, safe installer, remove invalid installed info, startup manager, Internet privacy (deletes temporary Internet files and history), and Internet speed up which tweaks your registry settings for you so you get faster connection speeds.

Why must you post ever single different release? just download one of the other versions and update it. Stop posting every version of system mechanic, cause they release another version like every week!

U can download, and even try this software :), but if you like how your win runs now, DO NOT INSTALL IT.
System mechanic has gone from exellent, good, average, bad, to steeming worst piece of crap I have ever seen. It's like some retards killed the original coders, and took over the their job.

Even if you get it to work,it will install some services, which you cannot deactivate, force itself on windows startup, cause problems with other programs(antivirus, firewall, defrags),try to go to internet all the time(even if you told him otherwise),and it will slow down your win to the point were you will ask yourself, what the hack is this program for, making your comp run faster or slower!!!??

This latest, q version is just an irony in discuise, cause this has nothing to do with IQ (maybe people making it are stoned all the time?:) ).
This is not just my opinion, but opinion of my friends, and many other people on forums that have also tried it out.

Go ahead and try it, you'll just prove me right, but , you should take a look for yourself (just backup vital info before...).

I sincerely hope that System Mechanic will improve, it was a great tool, and hopefully one day it will be even better than ever.

I beg to differ, System Mechanic's done nothing but help my computer since it got a bunch of driver errors, etc. Admittedly, some of its modules such as the defragger need improvement, but I have over 5 antispyware apps and NOD32 running in the beckground and SysMech hasn't ever given any of them reason to be alarmed.

Make your own decision, people.

And if there are any 9Down mods reading this, your comment system doesn't work on the Opera browser. Can you look into it?

Cheers,
