Tiny Firewall 2005 Standard edition targets consumer and advanced consumer market and simple server applications. It is easier to use yet it maintains the same degree of the security like the professional version. The main tradeoff compared to the Professional version is the manageability and lack of signature based IDS/IPS and Track'n Reverse engine.

I have also used many firewalls from mcaffee to seagate , zone alram and blackice defender . I found blackice as the best among them.
When i used zone alarm it conflicted with the proxy client of ISA server , same is the problem with mcaffee. Seagate is good too . i think i am happy with black ice , its awesome (Y).

I have always had problems using this firewall with the sandbox most notably but never with their earlier free version Tiny 2.
Zone Alarm seems to be in permanent beta. I use Sygate pro now and have had only minor problems I used to use the excellent kerio 2 but that one has apparently gone awry in its later development with betas etc.
No firewall is perfect. I would recomment either Sygate pro or the equally excellent Visnetic!

This is a perfect firewall. Sygate do not protect 100% and Visnetic has a bad interface and not correct terminologies

This is one of the best firewalls out there. I dont know wtf the guy who posted above me did, but you are an interesting character who knows diddly about running a very simple firewall app. When event viewer pops up, its very simple to go into its options and keep it from starting up everytime windows opens.
As far as all firewall reviews are concerned, this is tied in the top 3 right alongside Zone Alarm, and Sygates. BlackIce has odd issues, as well as outposts.
GRC.COM has a good firewall review.
I highly recommend this firewall, unless you are an idiot.
