significa que esta version aun no es el final, pero es la ultima version de prueba antes que lo denominan "final"
Algunas empresas sigan con release candidate 1, release candidate 2 y hasta mas.
Personalmente utilizo solo los finals, ya que no me gustan las versiones de prueba.
