Unlocker is an explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.
Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows? Cannot delete file: Access is denied There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use. The file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker is the solution.
Unlocker helps delete locked files with error messages like:
Cannot delete file: Access is denied There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use. The file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

This software is great. I have several zero length files stuck there for months. Whenever I want to delete them, windows reported error, and file didn't exist. All program can't fix them. The only way is to format the HDD again.
Dos alone without NTFS driver cannot work with NTFS partition. We are talking about file exists that is pobably a bug of the NTFS file system where windows XP simply report no existance of the file which you can see it at the explorer or you have to dig deep into the registry setting to correct it.
Don't think that only you know computer! Fool!

start > run > cmd navigate with DIR and CD commands
ctrl+alt+del kill explorer.exe from the "Processes" tab.
use delete in the command prompt window.
