It shouldn't be rebooting without prompting first. My guess is
that you're PC is bluescreening and rebooting because of that. In
XP (not sure about others), make sure that "Automatically restart" is
not turned on in System Properties->Advanced tab->Startup and
Recovery Settings, and then you'll at least be able to see what the
bluescreen says.
The installer sucks. I cannot even install it via safely mode. Also the
old version refuses to install via safely mode. Gonna try to get a
zipfile and registry entries.
