WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format. You may try WinRAR before buy, its trial version is available in downloads.
WinRAR - What's new in the latest version
Version 3.60 beta 3
1. Previous beta version could create duplicate copies of same file when updating an archived file with      high ASCII characters in file name.
2. SFX module crashed if single string length in "License"  or "Text" block exceeded 4096 characters.

Certainly worth the purchase price.

Open RarReg.key into Notepad or other editor;

then replace the name in the key after "RAR registration data"
with your own.

Close and return it to WinRAR directory;

open up WinRAR and see it registered in your own name.

Patches are ok, but if you add "Sign archive" option to your archive, it will open with an error in winrars with valid key. This is because valid keys are necessary for signing archives. For most of you this may be useless option, however...
Whats wrong with "spaming" a site, while you are SPAMING sh|tty annoying rapidshare.de? I will not use MaRKuS patch as long as there are valid keys.

It is simly to fix this error. Rememer the key rareg.key is added to Registry.  You only log in regedit and export this key to your winrar's folder. Thanks sp00l.

WinRAR 3.60 Beta-3 released May 08, every post releases simple contains new blacklists - nothing more, so don't download and don't install them

Erm...

Double backslash produces backslash in the "Preview", but not in the post... :-S

forget crap about importing the key-file to registry. it is NO registry file. about the patch - key thing: patch can enable you some more features, you can read also archive that is signed by an invalid key - others not. so it doesn't make sense. if you only consider registration, patch and key have same effect. and last but not least: what effort do you have in signing an archive with somebody other's key that is also blacklisted at rarlab? a personal key is used to guarantee 100% the file is by you and not somebody else. with a pirated key, you can't authenticate yourself. by key-spreading, the function is simply useless. you can sign an archive, but whole world knows it's a pirated key. no authentication, nothing, simply useless. so i don't understand why all ppl want to have that feature.

llm, Your tool working, I checked. :) At least authenticity verification passed (archive with authenticity verification created on patched version with blacklisted key, and extracted on untouched version with valid key), but You patch only WinRAR.exe, Rar.exe left unmodified... Need to patch both. Thx, Best regards! :)
