I think that WinZip is not very useful at all. Winrar is much better.

Heh Just try and use WinRAR to extract a zip file that uses either of the two new bzip2 (no, it's not the same as a .bz2 file) and PPMd compressions.

That's why I have both WinZip and WinRAR on my machines and I have their associations configured so there's no overlap.

Why "beta?" When Winrar beats the pants off of this program. Come on Winzip, do better than this; I'll still use 9.0 and it hasn't changed much.

WinZip is o.k. but winrar is better by far.
