changelog??? only add compatibility with windows vista???

some have a good theme of Windows Vista (with Arrow) for windows blind 5 with'n bugs in taskbar ("logon off" and "shutdown" buttons)

to fix this bug, you have to patch your Explorer.exe (remove the text LogOff ShutDown).

This shit is the public normal version, need Pro version with transparent support and another **[ 9Down.com refused this word ]** extra things.

I know how to get it to work on vista!

Apply the patch.

Restart.

Delete the running process WBVista.exe (Press end process)

The go to the WindowsBlinds folder, delete the originals and replace them with the .bak files.

You've done it!

Ok None OF These Patches Works with Vista ! I don't think they will ever be a working patch for WindowBlinds 5.5 that will work with Vista ! I have tried all patches they only work with XP ... And whoever that says the patch works with Vista is FULL OF SHIT !

Sorry guys. I tried to build a patch for the windows vista but without success. It seems to be very difficult and I don't have enough time to be devoted to it.

I ran NewSID 4.10, I get the welcome screen and I press next, I get the message "NewSID was unable to access your computer's SID" and quits.

capricornus ... you need to disable User Account Control in Windows Vista and then change your computer's SID .. Once you change the SID everything will work 100 %

Please ensure that you do not use the same SID for multiple PC's in the same network, it won't happen.

By the way, when you change the SID on Windows Vista It Does Not Affect Windows Vista Activation At All ... If your Windows Vista is Activated , It will remain activated even when you change the SID .. In order to disable User Account Control in Vista, click on Start, Control Panel, User Accounts and Family Safety , User Accounts, Turn User Account Control on or off ... then it will prompt you to reboot ... once you reboot the User Account Control is disabled :)

i may have hit the jackpot when it comes to getting windowblinds to work without having to change the SID, i have modified the wbsrv.dll and screen.exe to use the sig.bin that i provided with any random SID. I am in the last phase of testing. Once completed, I will upload the sig.bin file, the patched wbsrv.dll and screen.exe

you need to create a sig.bin file or use the one u already had (using notepad) and copy paste the info that i provided. Ensure that the file that u save in notepad is not saved with extension txt (sig.bin.txt).

If the sig.bin is correct and the SID of your computer matches with the one i provided, windowblinds should work.

unfortunately, the patches files uploaded earlier works for xp but not for vista.

Guys no one has explained correctly what we must do with the NEWSID program and the SIG.BIN file. We have to make these match somehow as I have understood, but the sig.bin file has a huge number, while the SID is small...., and also after we make the sig.bin file, where do we place it??? Clarity guyes.. step by step instructions are needed!

I need help on how to patch the (WindowBlinds 5.5 Public).I have already found the patch for WindowBlinds5.5.to my Window XP.But i have patch a few times already.
Each time when i switch on my computer,the software will hunt me to buy their software.What should i do?
