WindowBlinds is a program that allows you to completely change the look and feel of Windows to however you want it to look like. WindowBlinds allows you to completely customize your desktop look by changing the style of title buttons, bars and toolbars. You can change the look of buttons and check boxes by assigning them skins, or personalities, and you can assign buttons that will launch programs to toolbars.
You can create your own skins, choose from the four that are included in the program, or download additional ones. You can also choose to exclude certain programs from WindowBlinds if you don`t want to change their appearances. Applying visual styles : In addition to the shortcut to the WindowBlinds Advanced Config window in your Start menu, you can change WB visual styles and settings from either the Skins or Appearance tab in Display Properties. Set the skin to Windows Classic to not use a WB skin on startup (or use the options on the Skins tab or in the Advanced Config window). Be sure to check out www.WinCustomize.com to select from over 3200 free visual styles. WindowBlinds has been designed and tested to be as compatible with with thousands of applications and pieces of hardware available. Its memory load is quite low (unless you are using complex skins with lots of animation) and any oddities with specific apps can generally be worked around quickly (see the Troubleshooting section of the online help file for more information).

I'm think you don't have to. It usually just overrides the other version. If you do need to uninstall it should tell you.
But for the windowblinds.....you will need to uninstall the recent version completely before installing the newest version!!!

I have a problem with windowblinds... i downloaded it its activated and everything but when i apply a skin it makes my computer applys the windows classic skin to my computer.. no matter what skin i choose this happens.. can someone please help me out.. Much apreciated. Thanks

this is really misleading.. i think sum ppl dont knw numbers.. there is a major diffrence between 5.1 and 5.01 .. so this version is 5.01 not 5.1 and hardly any craks work perfectly.. even if it works they have problems with drawing boreders and stuffs

And can someone up the Argos suite somewhere other than Rapidshare? I can't get it from there.
what's the point getting it then if you cant use a skin LOL!
again can anybody tell me whats the main difference between this new version 5.1 comapred with the previous version of 5.01? is it worth the upgrade?

I personally haven't tested it, other people have tested it and said it works 100%. But If you've already downloaded the v5.01 theres no need to downlaod this new one!!!! Your going to have way more problems on the v5.1 guarented......

The 5.01 patch files don't work anyway. They also patch the skinning engine, and if you patch the new skin engine with the old patch, you will just get the old version back. We neeeeed (!) a new patch!

The only new thing is that skins CAN be hardware accellerated, which doesn't make much difference. You won't feel the change!
