Noobs galore. The keygen is to generate and change to a new key in case you're using one of the infamously pirated ones. And yes, the patch is permanent. I've been using it for many months on many different computers. And guess what? Windows updates everytime.

You do need an unmodified legitcheckcontrol.dll, though.

Run the keygen, change your key with keyfinder, then run fix and you're done

Dude, stfu, i'd rather run the cracked file then use a genuine key, since the cracked file prevents msft from getting varios bits of information.

It's a diff ver from the one I have. It says to use the resolve option in msdiag, but mine works without it and has cryptographic errors.

what have you guys been doing to beat the WPA? I have been doing the registry bypass thingy just to stop the msoobe reminders, then applying the magic reg file for WGA. But WPA goes back to being unactivated after a reboot.

I am doing something wrong. This is not installing on my computer. It says it has finished, but when I read back, it says FILE NOT FOUND, FAILED. Then at the bottom it states it has finished and a reboot is necessary. BUT, just above that is the message that 0 files were installed. I am usually fairly good at figuring out what I am doing wrong, but cannot this time. I am more than certain this is a massive brain fart on my part. Can anyone help? Thanks for everything. I do hope all the critics out there will realize, nothing has to be posted for download here. So, appreciate what is ... without nasty comments. Again, THANKS.

Thanks Thegrustud, It works perfect with all versions of XP that I have tried. Those utils makes windows Genuine!!! I now have Defender and Media player 11 thanks again. Works perfect with the Media Center also.
