64-bit is not supported for Beta 2
Beta 2 does not support a 64-bit installation; however the final version of Windows Live will support 64-bit (with the exception of Family Safety). You have the choice of either continuing to run the Beta 1 versions of Windows Live or you can uninstall all Windows Live applications and reinstall the released versions. Anyway to download and install just the Windows Photo Gallery? Do they give you an option to only install that? Is it any good? It's gotta be better than the built in one that comes with XP.
Windows Live Photo Gallery works pretty much the same way as Google's Picasa does. You can do simple edits and organize your photos in one place. The only downside is, it tends to slow down a bit especially if you have a large library of images.
